The Minims, Hatfield
At The Minims we provide 24-hour care and support for twelve adults with learning disabilities within two separate six-bedroomed bungalows in Hatfield. We aim to ensure that this is not just a place to live, but is a home and a safe environment, where people are encouraged and enabled to make their own choices and decisions in as many aspects of their lives as possible.
Every person is unique and their care needs different, therefore each person has an individually tailored package of support to meet their needs and wishes. People are encouraged to enjoy their hobbies and choose their own holidays, outings and to participate in different events. Strong community links are developed to support people to play as full a part in the local community as they wish. People maintain regular contact with social services and access doctors, chiropodists, opticians, dentists and hairdressers in the community on an individual basis. Strong community links are developed.
